Marianne here with today's project. I know there were a couple of different post it holders on here a little while ago but this one includes a pen and is a bit different to the others. I wanted to make some to sell at craft fairs and after playing around with a few ideas finally settled on this design.
You will need
Black card
White stamp pad
10cm square MDF coaster
Double sided card (or you could use card and cover it with paper)
Corner punch (optional)
Postits
Pen
1 Cut card 10cm x 23.6cm. Score and fold at 11.2cm and 12.4cm.
2 Cover the top of the coaster with a piece of 10cm square card. Sand the edges which helps to adhere the card to the MDF and gives a smooth finish.
3 Attach the scored and folded card to the bottom of the coaster.
4 Stamp the image onto black card using the white stamp pad. Cut to 7cm wide x 9cm high. Use a decorative corner punch on all corners (optional). I have used a Martha Stewart corner punch. Attach to the top.
5 Attach the postits to the coaster. Pen clips inside.
The card I used had different patterns on either side. This shows the inside of the holder.
I hope this has given you another idea for making one of these. You could also use a memo block rather than postits. They make a nice little present and would be great as teacher's gifts.
Lovely project Marianne. Always great to have ideas for some quick gifts.
