'Whisper a wish...'

...and it might just come true!

Even if a your wish doesn't come true it's always great when something nice happens and that's just what happened to us when we received an email from a lovely customer, Annette Harding who sent us a picture of a card she has made with our 'Whisper a Wish' silhouette hedgehog stamp:

designed by Annette
It cheered us up here at LC HQ, and reminded us of just what a great stamp this is, complete with text 'Whisper a Wish'

Last minute makes !!

With all the christmas rush we all find we need an extra prezzie or stocking filler, well what about making a few of these fab bookmarks which can be made in a jiffy !!

All you need is:
A piece of white card 2" x 8 1/4"
One Stix 2 Bookmark Cover
Little Claire Stamps
Two lenghts of ribbon
Hole punch
Colouring pens of your choice

Just stamp randomly your image onto the piece of white card and colour in using your pen choice, For mine I used spectrum noir pens, because the ink bleeds through you will need to back your bookmark with another piece of white card or patterned paper the same size before popping it into the bookmark cover.

Now just punch a hole in the top to thread a piece of double ribbon through and tie another piece of ribbon to make a bow round this

If using the Manphabet stamp set to spell a word like this football one, you will need to stamp the word down the front first,  then fill in the gaps .

A quick handy little present for anyone and so many Little Claire stamps to use !!

Happy Christmas guys !!

hugs Diane xx

Tuesday 16 December 2014

With all the Christmas activities...

...we have overlooked announcing the lucky winner of our competition last week to win a set of our December club stamps 'Man of My Dreams'

This is such a super set of stamps - perfect for those difficult male cards - for instance my brother loves his garden, Carol's hubby is always doing some sort of DIY and there has been many a time that Steve has been my Knight in Shining Armour (even if it's a cup of tea first thing in the morning!)

Anyway, our lucky winner is: Debra Kenworthy who says I'd definitely send my hubby a card with the knight in shining armour on it as he's no good at DIY or gardening but he's looked after me so much in the last twelve months through the loss of my mum, two operations, one an emergency op, and a relapse of my MS. He is my carer but he's also my husband, best friend and my knight in shining armour. Debra x

Well done Debra, please contact Gill with your details and we will send this super set of stamps to you.
