Friday project - scalloped card gift box

Good morning! hope you are all ok. Donna here with a very easy peasy tutorial for a little gift box.

You will need : a 6x6 inch scallop card blank
Patterned paper & co-ordinating cardstock
Spellbinders circle dies
Promarkers
flower & leaf punch
white card
ribbon
gems

Take the card blank ( without folding in half ) and score at 13.5cm from either end. Then fold on these score lines, to make a deep spine, measuring 3cm, as shown below.

Stick a length of ribbon halfway up the back inside and front.

Take a piece of card measuring 19cm x 20cm and score 3cm all way round. Cut the corners as shown below, then fold in and glue to create a box base.

Glue the box base onto the inside back as shown.

Cover the front and spine with patterned paper matted onto card.
Stamp & colour image. Cut with circle dies, layer onto a scallop circle and attach to front as shown. Add some flowers, leaves & gems to finish.

Hope you enjoyed my little tutorial, please pop back soon for some more inspiration.
