Hello Crafters
Its Gemma here with this weeks Little Claire's Weekly Project for you, something bright and cheery and it's a card for those times you need one that just lets someone know that you are thinking of them and hopefully it will put a smile on their face too!!
I am also using a 'Just been Released' stamp set and these are called 'Postcard Greetings'...aren't they just fabulous?!?!
Righto me lovelies no more waffle, lets get giving you the deets of how to make this card so without further ado, here's it is....
Ingredients
White card blank
White card for stamping
Promarkers - gold, honeycomb, burnt sienna, mustard, vanilla, buttercup, primrose
Ribbon and Gems {stash}
Sticky notes
Ruler
A pencil
Eraser
Recipe
1) Cut a piece of white card to 14cm x 14cm square, next put a mark at 4 inches up one of the side's of this piece of card and then do the same on the opposite and now join these to marks, you should now have a small and large section.
2) On the small section of this card stick some sticky notes over it to protect it from any inks.
3) Now stamp some of the large flowers using your Flowerhead stamp on this large section of the card, going slightly off the edge of the card but remember to leave some space for some smaller flowers using your Dinkie Flowerhead stamp...just like the photo above.
Now take off your sticky notes!!
4) Next step is to colour your flowers with any colour products you have and the ones i have used Promarkers, the large flowers i have used burnt sienna, honeycomb, gold and on the little flowers i have used mustard, vanilla, buttercup and primrose, going from darkest to lightest when colouring.
5) Now rub out the pencil line you created before and then attach some ribbon where this line originally was using extra tacky tape. Next you can attach this piece to your main card blank using foam pads to give it a bit of dimension.
6) Now make a bow and attach this to your card, next stamp out your chosen sentiment which mine happens to be the {Just been Released} Postcard Greetings and now cut around the sentiment leaving a little white border.
7) Next attach the sentiment to your card but tucking it under your ribbon, like in the photo above and now attach some gems to top righthand side of card...Now your card is finished!!
I hope i have inspired you to make this card and if i have and you are in need of some products please don't forget to stop by Little Claire's shop...you wont be disappointed believe me as they have lots of gorgeous products and at fantastic prices too :)
