Good morning everyone! This week it's my (Helen N) turn to share one of my creations with you and I've made this hanging card using 'Garden Set' and one of the gorgeous new 'Sunshine Sentiment' stamps.
Here's what you'll need to make the project:
Promarkers
pale green card
circle and scalloped circle Nestabilities dies
Go Kreate scalloped square dies
Corner rounder punch
And this is what you need to do:
1. Stamp the flower pot, wellingtons and sentiment on to white card and die cut using two sizes of the circle dies:
2. Then die cut from the pale green card four scalloped squares and scalloped circles to match the three circular image panels:
3. Cut three white squares (8cm square) from the stamping card and round the corners. Cut a square of the pale green gingham paper (7cm) square and round the corners of this:
4. Colour the two main images using Promarkers:
5. Layer the two image circles on to the larger scalloped circles and then on to the white card. Then layer the sentiment circle on to the smaller scalloped circle, then on the pale green gingham paper and then the white card as shown in the photo below:
6. Starting with the top panel, lay one of the scalloped squares on to your craft mat and then put the ribbon over the top of this creating a loop above the scalloped square. Use some sellotape to tape the two sides of the ribbon to the green scalloped square:
7. Next place your first white square on top of this so the ribbon is sandwiched between the two pieces:
8. Continue attaching the other scalloped squares in the same way as shown in the photo below:
9. Attach the two final white card squares to finish the card:
I really hope you like the card! Here's another variation I made using the 'Babies Are Such a Nice Way' set and a bit of paper piecing using pale blue gingham paper:
Hope you like the cards!
Both gorgeous, but the baby one would make a lovely gift to hang in a nursery. Thanks for the tutorial. Lisa xxx
