Calvin Cat–Digi Stamp Project

Morning All! It’s Lisa here with a new ‘Digi Stamp Project' and today I’m showcasing the Calvin Cat digi stamp:

Sometimes you need a quick little gift in a hurry, whether is be for a Birthday you almost forgot (oops) or for a little thank you present. So my project is a very easy little notebook:

    Calvin Cat Notebook (2)

I’ve used a piece of card as the front and back cover, a bulldog clip to hold it together and some pretty paper. The paper inside mine is scrap paper that I’m recycling but you could you nice plain paper if you were giving it as a gift.

Here is a close up of the image:

    Supplies:

    • Calvin Cat Digi Stamp

    • Alcohol Markers

    • Bulldog Clip

    • White Stamping Card

    • Kraft, Orange and Teal Coloured Card

    • White A4 paper or scrap paper

    • Striped Patterned Paper

    • Plain and Scalloped Square Dies

    • Pearls

    • Word or Alpha Stickers

        Step by Step:

        1. Cut two 11cm by 15.5cm pieces of Kraft card. Score one across the short edge at 2.5cm (this is the depth of my bulldog clip so you may need to change this measurement)

        2. Cut a 9.5cm by11.5cm piece of patterned paper, mat onto teal and orange card and fix to the Kraft card under the score line.

        3. Cut a 9.5cm by 0.5cm strip of patterned paper, mat onto teal and orange card and fix to the Kraft card above the score line.

        4. Print the image onto white stamping card. Die cute into a square and colour images with alcohol markers.

        5. Mat the image onto a scalloped square die cut from teal card and fix to the front of the note book with 3D foam pads.

        6. Decorate the front with some word stickers, pearls and some doodling with a fine line pen.

        7. Cut several sheets of A4 white paper into quarters (A6 size/10.5cm by 14.8cm) and place inside the front and back covers. Hold it all together with the bull dog clip.

          1. Hope you like my project and are inspired to try something similar. My blog is www.craftingbelle.blogspot.com if you would like to see some more projects.
