Good morning – Friday project time and my turn this week….fingers crossed, I have diarised this post as all being well I shall be enjoying my hols in Cornwall…..just hubbie and I this time, Vicky is loving life in New Zealand and yes we are happy she is happy but we really do miss her……………anyhow on with a quickie make using one of the inspirational new Christmas Stamps from Little Claire…….initially they may appear a little tricky to colour in……but if you block colour with the lighter colour and highlight with a brighter colour…….easy peasy!!!!!
Robin and Snowdrop Stamp
148mm x 148mm Fancy shaped card blank.
White organza ribbon
White Card Candi - 4
Adhesive stones - 8
Promarkers: Caramel, Burnt Sienna, Buttercup, Cool Grey 1, Lime Green and Pastel Blue.
Stamping Card
Double sided backing papers from the stash plus brown toning paperStardust Glitter Glue
Square and snowflake dies
Method:
Matt and layer coordinating papers. 11cm x 11cm onto 11.4cm x 11.4cm
Strip 5cm x 13.5cm onto 5.4cm x13.9cm
Tie organza robin around the strip.
Stamp robin and snowdrop onto stamping card and trim to 7.5cm square – carefully trim around the tail to overlap the die and colour using promarkers as shown. Trace around the entire image using pastel blue to add dimension.
Die cut mount and snowflake.
Layer up elements using 3D foam for the stamped topper.
Add snowflake and card candi with 3D foam pads.
Glitter glue and adhesive stones to finish.
Couldn’t resist sharing the piccie of Isla …….she leaves me alone whilst I create…..and once setting up to take piccie of finished card she poses dutifully in my photo box……………….she is such a cutie…….and I honestly do not go to find her…..she is my shadow and loves posing……aw bless!
