Hope everyone had a lovely Easter - blossom and lighter nights are most welcome.
I have created today's project using 4 Silhouette Stamps from Little Claire and my new best friend - "Brusho." If Brusho doesn't mean a lot to you at present - there are some amazing tutorials on youtube. I have created these sheets by washing with water using a paint brush and using the Brusho pots as pepper pots to sprinkle. Less is very much more - allow the pigment to disperse and add more water using a spitzer if needed. Allow to dry naturally if you have the time or carefully use your heat gun. The paper does benefit from being stacked under a heavy weight to dry flat.
Needless to say the backgrounds for these terrific Silhouette Stamps has been created using Brusho. In my usual style piccies - lots of the demonstrate the stages from "panic" to "oh that's nice" - I think so anyway hope you do too.
So here goes:
Background papers created.
Excellent selection of Silhouette stamps from Little Claire.
Black Pigment ink and clear embossing powder.
This is the fun part - choosing where to stamp your image.
Images are trimmed.
All matted onto black card - 1/2 cm larger than the stamped image. Matted onto white stamping card - 1cm larger. then matted onto black - 1/2cm larger.
Here the tile is matted onto yellow card which tones with the pigment from the Brusho - 1cm larger then matted onto black 1/2cm larger.
Tile positioned centrally and embellished with tiny punched butterflies from a scrap of the Brusho background. Sentiment added from the stamp set and faux stitching.
Coordinating papers, matted and layered. Toning ribbon used.
More punched butterflies to embellish, plus adhesive crystals and faux stitching.
No backing papers this time...
Simple matting and layering and a band of fabulous hemp ribbon from "the stash."
Hope you managed to "stick" with me - same principle for all - I now have more tiles to make up - perhaps another day!
Many thanks for looking. Wishing you all a lovely day. Cheerio from me and all the Little Claire Team xxGaynor
