A Wonderful Weekend at Ally Pally and a Chance to Win!

It was great to see everyone at Ally Pally at the weekend and I hope you all enjoyed the show!

Our Design Team member Heidi did a fabulous job demoing on our stand and I wanted to share some of the amazing cards she made.  The first one (above) is made with one of the new Red Gingham Christmas designs 'Good Morning Robin' - it's a very clever design because, if you look carefully, you'll see that the circle with the stamped design on it is suspended by a piece of thread so it spins round in the card!  On the other side of the circle, Heidi has put one of the Red Gingham Christmas Text sentiments.
This next card is a very stylish black and white stepper card using the same stamp - doesn't it look different using the black and white colour scheme?  On the main panel Heidi has used one of our new Glitter Sparkle Sheets - mess free sparkle!

This next card uses the 'Deck the Horns' stamp - a lovely circular card in a blue colour scheme.

And here's another gorgeous Christmas card using 'Mr Darcy's Christmas Post' - a red and white theme complete with bunting!

And finally a card made with the 'Spikey Flowers' stamp - another elegant black and white design.

Heidi was a very brave bunny doing a demo in front of a hundred ladies!  I'm sure everyone who came along enjoyed it - we'd love to hear your feedback!!

It would be lovely if you could leave a comment - let us know your favourite thing about going to shows and also which of the cards in this post you like the best.  On Thursday at 12 noon, we'll pick out five lucky winners who will each receive the stamp used to make their favourite card.  Plus, we've altered our blog so that anyone who doesn't have a blog account should now be able to leave a comment.

  1. I had a fab time at Ally Pally too...the best thing about going to the shows is the great inspiration we get from the team and the fabby cards on show...

My favourite card is definitely the top one "Good morning Robin)...love the colour scheme...

  2. All these cards are fab, but I think I like the bottom one best. The best thing about going to shows is being able to see and handle all the items. Quite often on the internet you can't tell how big (or small!) a stamp is.

  3. Oh, very nice cards! They are all so cute and adorable!!!
I love the one with fawn on - he is so sweet)))

  4. For me its got to be getting all the fab ideas from the designers !! It`s always a case of "why didn`t I think of that "

For me the best card is " Mr Darcy`s Christmas Post"

    hugs Diane xx

  5. Glad you had such a fabby weekend. These are all fabby, but Deck the Horns is my fav. xxx

  6. My favourite thing about going to shows is learning about new products.
I like the Spikey flowers set best, but they are all 'fab'

  7. I love going to shows to see all the fab inspiration (and to have a good spend). I'll be at the Leigh show next Sunday so hope you'll be exhibiting there again. My favourite card is the first one as I love the design and colour scheme.

  8. I love going to shows and will be attending one in belfast in a few weeks, the best thing about going to the shows is the inspiration you get, I love to watch people craft and always end up getting new idea's for my own cards. Your cards are all gorgeous but my favourite has to be that beautiful reindeer 'Deck the horns', the stamp is so cute and funny and i love the colours and swirls you've used on the card, great job! hugs Donna x

  9. Well its got to be the black & white "Good Morning Robin" card. Absolutely beautiful card, mind you they are all extremly beautiful cards, hard to choose a favourite. As for the shows, its so great to get to meet other crafters, but also to talk the stand owners and really get a good idea about the different products and get more ideas on how to use them. See various different demos, its a great learning experience.

  10. I couldn't get to Ally Pally this time but think it is a fab show. I love meeting craft 'celebrities' and like picking up tips and ideas. Thank you so mucj for the chance to win a stamp, I, like Sylvia above, love the top card, beautiful yet unusual colours for Christmas and the design is stunning x

  11. I am sooooooooo happy I was able to come to the Ally Pally on Saturday. Really enjoyed myself and am a very proud owner of some more fab stamps of yours :) I totally love the cards made with the "Good Morning Robin"-stamp, already seen that stamp on the blog and bought it Saturday :)
Just love all the cards made! Love the colorscheme of the last one a lot and am in loooooooove with the "Good Morning Robin"-cards :)

Thanks for making my Saturday a day to remember!

  12. I didn't go to Ally Pally, but I went to Harrogate and bought all the Red Gingham stamps. All the cards are gorgeous with loads of inspiration, my favourite is the reindeer, it's such a fun image.

  13. I love the black and white stepper card using the Good Morning Robin Stamp. Love going to shows as you get lots of inspiration and seeing new trends. Also love the chance to see items that can't buy locally.

  14. I have never been to a craft show as we don't have any in the Republic of Ireland :( I really wish we did they look so much fun!! If i were to go to one im sure my fave part would be all the fab shopping to be done lol
My fave out of the cards is the first one made with the "Good Morning Robin" stamp, it is so gorgeous and I love the colours she has used :)

  15. Had a great time at Ally Pally and so lovely to meet Heidi at last and see her fab cards. The best thing for me is being able to see so many products which normally I can only buy online and all the great inspiration. I like Deck the Horns best. Marianne x

  16. I love to see all the ideas at shows and to see things in real life too.
I think my favourite card is the bottom one with the spikey flowers but the are all brilliant xx

  17. My favourite thing about going to shows is meeting lovely creative people with great ideas. I love the Mr. Darcy's Christmas Post best as it is so cute and versatile.
    Happy Crafting Hazel x

  18. All the cards are fab. My favourite is the black and white stepper card. I love black and white cards, for any occasion, they always look so elegant.
Didn't make it to Ally Pally, hopefully next year. Keep up the good work xx from Linda (in the IOM)

  19. All the cards are lovely, but my favourite is the spikey flowers - a very "useful" stamp! It looks so elegant in your example. At shows I love to see stamps/products in real life. When you see the items online it's not always easy to work out the size - and only by seeing the stamps can you judge the quality (depth etc) - plus the details don't always show well in pictures.
