Weekly Blog Project - Thank You Card

Good morning,

Heidi here to share a blog project with you this wet and windy Saturday.

I have made a quick and easy 'Thank You' card using the gorgeous 'Silhouette' stamp - 'Meadow Girl'. She is a stunning image, especially stamped in brown.  It gives a lovely vintage feel.

This 'silhouette' image is such a lovely one to use on any themed card.  I have listed below, the products used and how my card came together.  Should you wish to visit the website, please pop over HERE.

Here are the products used on my card :

Little Claire Meadow Girl stamp
Dovecraft 'Curiosity Corner' Paper Pad
White Card Blank
Brown and Turquoise Card
White Stamping Card
Spellbinder 'Inspire' die - 'Thank You'
Elegant Edge Die
Memory Box 'Isabella' Butterfly die
Joy Crafts 'Vintage Flourish' die
Turquoise pearls
Versafine 'Vintage Sepia' Inkpad
Double-sided tape, sticky pads and glue dots.

How my card was made :

(1) Cut a square of brown card and stick to card blank.
(2) Cut a piece of the 'Curiosity Corner' paper to matt onto brown card, stick down.
(3) Die cut 'Elegant Edge' die from brown card and cut a square to fit from white card.
(4) Stamp up image, covering stamp area well with ink pad.
(5) Ink edges of image and card blank, stick image down.
(6) Die cut, two 'Vintage Flourishes' and two 'Isabella' butterflies, add to card.
(7) Die cut 'Thank You' from turquoise card and stick to side of card.
(8) Add two pearls to butterfly centres and two to outside of card.

Thank you for visiting the Little Claire blog today, I hope you have enjoyed my quick tutorial.

  1. Lovely card - have never thought of using teal with autumnal colours but the butterflies really pop off the card! Thanks for sharing.
