Beautiful Buddleia - Little Claire Friday Blog Project

Morning everyone - beginning of May and a long weekend ahead for some.

I have used two elements from the latest project stamp set from Little Claire and confess that for ease of use I cut the butterfly free from the single Buddleia flower stamp......so 2 stamps but three elements!

I have taken loads of piccies which I hope illustrates how the card "came" together.

A multitude of stamps in this month's project club pack.

I have used a "Fanciful" card blank from Little Claire and cut black matting card to 10cm x 10cm and 13.5cm x 4.5cm.
White stamping card 9.5cm x 9.5cm and a strip of coordinating backing paper 13cm x 4cm.

I randomly stamped 3 images with the Buddleia stamp and then created a mask on a post it note.

By carefully placing the mask over a stamped image multiple layers of images can be added.

I positioned the butterflies approaching the Buddleia flowerheads and shaded in using  Promarkers. I also ran my lime green Promarker around the border for added dimension and layering.

Carefully traced round all the stamped elements with a pastel blue Promarker.....to add depth and dimension.

Assembled the card as shown, using 3D foam pads on the stamped tile - sentiment stamped in each corner, adhesive gems and glitter glue.  I used a fineliner promarker to suggest flight paths of the butterflies.

Similar cards - different backing papers!

I hope you like my little make and have lots of fun with the latest project kit if you are already a club member. If not and you would like to regularly receive a new release monthly stamp set with a pack to make up one design plus additional ideas sheets pop over to Little Claire for further information.

I'm off now to have a nosey at other DT's make on the Little Claire website.

Whatever you are doing this weekend...............have a lovely time.      xx Gaynor
