Fridays Project: Henny Penny

 Morning peeps,

Diane here with a cute friday project for you using "Henny Penny"

Corner bookmarks are quick and easy to make and a fab way of using up scraps of patterened paper !!

You will need:
Henny Penny stamp
white card
patterened paper
border punch
3 1/2" circle die/punch
ribbon
1 pearl gem
wet glue
double sided tape

  1. Cut a piece of white card 4"x 4"  and mark the centre point on 3 sides, Score and fold back.

 2. With a border punch, punch bottom edge and then cover front with strips of patterened paper and add some faux stitching.

 3.  Now stamp Henny Penny onto a piece of white card and cut out. Also die cut a white 3 1/2"circle and a white square 2 3/4" cut in half. (you will only need one half)

 4. Paper piece Henny Penny with patterened paper, I have used Papermania's "Burleigh Blue" . Add faux stitching round white circle and cover triangle with paptterned paper.

4. Wrap a piece of ribbon round front and tape down on back of bookmark. Also stick triangle onto back at top to close bookmark top. Then cover ribbon and back with strips of patteren paper.

 5. Now glue white circle onto front and then Henny Penny on top of that. Finish by knotting a small piece of ribbon to left side and adding a small pearl gem to Henny Penny's bow front.

And here's another one using a different combination of the same paper.

Why not brighten someones day by making and giving one as a surprise gift !!

hugs to all, Diane xx
