Weekly Blog Project - Wiper Card

Hi there, it is my turn (Heidi) to do the Little Claire Weekly Blog Project and I have made a 'Wiper Card' using the gorgeous 'Ever So Lovely', a gorgeous Little Claire stamp. It is one of the 'Garden' range of stamps and can be purchased via the shop.

I have used these products to make my card :
Little Claire 'Ever so Lovely' stamp & 'Happy Days' Sentiment
2 x A4 pieces of cardstock
Dovecraft 'Sugar & Spice' paper pack
Spellbinders ' Bitty Blossoms' Dies
Quickutz Scallop Frame Die
Circle & Circle Scallop Punches
Magnolia 'Butterfly' Die
1 x White Doily
Brown/White Baker's Twine
'Brushed Corduroy' inkpad
Birdcage Charm & Cream Pearls
Promarkers :
Khaki, Pastel Beige, Marsh Green, Putty, Coral, Soft Green & Tea Green

How to make the 'Wiper Card' :

(1) Cut two pieces of white cardstock measuring :  4. 1/4 x 8 1/2  inches.  Score at : 1 1/5  and 3 inches.  Cut a rectangle measuring : 3  x 1.5 inches.  Score at 1.5 down diagonally, this makes your wiper piece.

(2) Using brown paper from pack, cut rectangles measuring :4 x 5 1/4 inches and two pices measuring : 4 x 1.5 inches. With turquoise paper, cut two rectangles measuring : 3 3/5 x 5 inches,  and  3 3/4 x 5 inches.  Cut one in orange paper, measuring : 3 3/4 x 5 inches.  Stick together and then onto card.

(3) Attach double-sided tape to each end of card. Stick down 'wiper part', as shown in picture. Stick card together.

(4) Colour image and sentiment with Promarkers, ink all edges of card and doily with 'Brushed Corduroy' ink pad. Stick down doily and then image on top.

(5) Attach bakers twine to each end, roll and stick flowers together. Add embellishments as shown.

Hope you have enjoyed this blog project, please leave us a comment below..
