Looky look...

oooh, we took another look at 3 of our RWAV (Room with a View) stamp sets (these are the super sets which give you either a door or window through which you can see a scene) and one of our new teamies, Doreen, has made us 3 great cards to show, first card is made using RWAV Beach Hut

which shows the lady getting dry after spending time on the beach!
Here is Doreen's card:

You can just see the lady through the red doors, these doors can be opened by the recipient, the text is also included within the set.

Next we have our RWAV Wedding scene, a beautiful stained glass church window which can be opened to reveal the traditional wedding scene inside, both of these stamps work great on their own too, as does the wedding car - a fantastic set:

and you see you don't have to use the window, this is a stunning card without, and we love the colours, perfect!

Next we have RWAV 4 Seasons, this has got to be one of our favourites - you get 4 seasons in one stamp set!

and each season can be used to make cards for all year round, general cards, Christmas, Easter, can you see the little greetings?  Each one is designed to fit onto the window seat cushion - wow!  Here is a Christmas card from Doreen:

Hello everyone...

... a big hello to our new followers, thank you and thank you to all of our followers; it means a lot to us and we try our best to keep our blog interesting.

This Saturday just gone, we had a full day of classes, run by our lovely Helen N, she did a great job and our ladies (and gents) made a super selection of cards too, so without further ado, here is a snippet of what we did on the day (all cards designed by Helen N):

Cutting Dies, Acetate and Gingham Paper all combined to make this cutey, and Book Owl below is from a sheet of peel offs which includes the sentiments too!

In the afternoon we ran a 'Ladies and Gentlemen' class, lots of ideas, here's a small selection:

Now to our usual Monday project, 'Little Claire Likes'.  Where we showcase a new or much loved stamp from our range.

 

 

Today, is the turn of 'Duckmum', a great set for Mother's Day, Easter and Spring cards. You can treat yourself to this little stamp for the reduced price of £3.99 (normally £4.50).  It is only at this price until Thursday, 13th March 2014 or whilst stocks last.

Card Instructions :

 

(1) Firstly, stamp up your image onto an oblong piece of white card, colour in with Promarker's.
(2) Stamp up a sentiment from the 'Sunshine' sentiments set, colour in flowers.
(3) Choose two pieces of co-ordinating papers from the paper pack, matt and layer onto 'Romance' and 'Lemon' card, stick together.
(4) Stick doily down over paper and card onto card blank, attach baker's twine.
(5) Stick image down onto the right-hand side of card.
(6) Die-cut butterfly, 'mum' and punch out sentiment backing and stick together.
(7) Stick all elements together, add pearls to butterfly edge of card.

Little Claire Friday Blog Project

It is my turn over at Little Claire for the Friday weekly Project.  I wanted to create something away from a card........that was quick......So here goes:

 I used a base gift bag purchased from a well known craft store.

I stamped the gorgeous butterfly tree stamp - just one stamp in an amazing set and a dinkie flowerhead - which I stamped onto pattern paper, using Memento ink as I have shaded in a little using a Pastel blue Promarker. I die cut the stamped butterfly tree using a Nestabilities Lace Oval.

To accent the tree detail and dinkie flowerhead I have used a beautiful shade of pink Stickles and Glitter Domes from the stash.

 Here are the papers I have used to matt and layer alongside the punches used.

 Adhesive crystals and my trusty pastel blue promarker.

Little Claire Likes - Pom Pom Dahlia

Good morning and welcome to another 'Little Claire Likes'.

Each Monday, we share a new project from our Design Team member Heidi, using a new or much loved stamp from our extensive range.

 This week, which is the first Monday in March, we are showcasing the beautiful 'Pom Pom Dahlia' flower stamp.  An image, just right for Spring. You can purchase this beauty at the special price of £3.99 (normally £4.50) whilst stocks last or until Thursday, 6th March.

 Heidi has made a very quick and easy card using the stamp and some of our gorgeous papers from our website. Just click onto the product below to take you to the website.

Card Instructions :

(1) Choose two pieces of paper from paper stack. Cut one oblong from each piece, measuring : 7cms x 14cms. Stick down onto kraft card blank.
(2) Cut edge from one of the pieces and stick to edge of card.
(3) Stamp up 'Pom Pom Dahlia' image, colour in with Promarker's.
(4) Stamp up sentiment 'Fabulous Day' onto side of card.
(5) Make two small holes either side of flower image, thread linen thread through and tie a bow.
(6) Matt image onto kraft cardstock using sticky pads.
(7) Stick image down and add two small gold pearls.

Little Claire Friday Project

Hello to you all, My share today is a first for me at Little Claire's....

It's the Friday Project

I have decided to show how you can make a background for all the lovely silhouette stamps that are
available from Little Claire

I first started by gathering all I needed

After stamping my image onto my card  with some black Versafine ink I punched a 2 inch circle to use as a mask for the moon,you can place this wherever you like

Using Faded Jeans distress ink and a sponge start inking the card around the image and moon making sure you hold the moon mask firmly, I have left some free of ink where I think the moon is shining.

I have also gone around the top corners with Festive Berries distress ink to give some depth to the image.

 To get the effect of clouds across the moon I have picked some ink up on a cotton bud and simply  wiped it across.

I then assembled everything and this is the end result.

The new club stamps for March...

... are being processed right now!

Here is a peek of the new March designs which are winging their way to our lovely club members this week:

mmmm.... very nice - this new set will be revealed in all its glory from Saturday 01 March together with all of the samples created by our lovely teamies and it promises to be extremely useful for both male and female cards.
