Just uploading some card pics from my camera to our web and thought that it would be good to share these lovely ideas with you, these are mostly cards that our talented Heidi has made at previous demo's with us, so take a look.......

This is really difficult.... They are all very lovely. I think I like the weddingcard and Oh man best, because they are very different from other pictures and the last has a cartoon style with humour.

My fist pick is the Hedgehog's in Squares I love them they are so cute! I love the way the hedgehogs are in squares and then the sentiment is in a circle. Kind of makes you do a double take.

I love the 'Happy Little Mice' and 'Hedgehogs in Squares' cards best! The layouts are colourful and attractive, and the stamps themselves are just soooooooo cute! I love all Lil Clairs stamps but out of these I thought the Footballing Hedgepigs would be great fun to send to some of my male friends with sore ego's at this end of the footie season,they seem to all be so prickly at the mo,My 2nd is the sentiments card, I think these can be used for so much,and this card shows it off so well.Luvly cards as usual.

Both are different layouts which are so inspiring, both are lovely stamps, the hedgies one would be absolutely brilliant for male cards, and how we struggle with those! Such a lovely clean appealing card, I just love it! The second one is so girly, so cute, and again the layout and the colours are absolutely stunning. Both stamps are so versatile and usable, and to me these and the two layouts have the edge over the others (although it is hard to choose!) My first choice would be the wedding card as it is nice to see a monochrome wedding card, very effective. My second choice is the Hedgehog in the squares card a really pretty card. I just love anything with Hedgehogs or Hogglets on as I rescue Hedgehogs myself and currently have a blind one I am looking after.

Messing about on the River and the Sentiments would be my favs. The river one because it could be used for either gender and not just river themed - and the sentiments - well that's easy - use it over and over and over - so many different options. They are all rather cute in their own way and would be very much at home with all my other little claire stamps!! .

ReplyDeleteThey´re all really great cards and very inspiring too, but my favorites must be the one with the man sleeping in the chair, because that´s exactly how I remember my granddad, when he was alive, always taking a nap under the newspaper after lunch ha ha ha ha.
ReplyDeleteMy second choise is definately the sentiments card, because I really like a card, that has a good message in it too, and these sentiments are really great for any occation, you might need, and both cards are really happy and fun to watch, and sooo well made, and just by watching them, I got another great idea right away, so they´re apealing a lot to my creativity as well.

ReplyDeleteStunning selection of cards, which makes my choice even harder. I think it has to be Hedgehogs in Squares cos they're just so cute! My second choice is On Your Wedding Day, but not for the right reason!!! I really couldn't choose a second fave out of all of them, so I've put my pratical head on and decided that as I have no wedding stamps, this set would be really useful should I be lucky enough to win.

ReplyDeleteI like 'on your wedding day' because of the monochrome look, use of tools like punches, dies and stamps all combined in the design. Things we crafters have in our stash, but are sometimes unsure of how to apply ideas all together, so thanks for the inspiration.
I like 'Messing about on the river' because of the colours used,how one could use pro markers or water colored pencils ,chalks etc and still achieve a subtle or bold effect.
Also as the card is shaped it would be like receiving a gift bag too, and the stamp can be used for not only birthdays, but thinking of you... or just to say ..
very versatile in design.
I think that they are all wonderful cards in their own ways but my favourite is Blisful love the colours, and 'seascape' as I live near the sea here in Norfolk.

If the Messing about the river was done on Green but the designs and layout of the footballing card I am sure it would have come out as my favorite.

My now 27 year old son LOVED hedgehogs - I had several 'sick' hoggies to look after and his room was always covered in hedgehogs !! Also .. those little mice are SO cute .. and my best friend is called Mousie as a nick name by me - I am always on the lookout for mice stamps and items to make and send things to her!

My personal favourites are Sentiments and Hedgehog in squares. The Sentiments are just so useful, simple yet classy and the hedgehogs so cute. I have used the peel offs in this before and they are popular with old, young, male and female!

I love the footballing hedgehogs as this stamp combines my love of crafting and my passion for watching football (and in a week when my team won the premiership and are in the champions league final)! I also love the seascape card as it acts as a reminder of holidays by the sea - and I would love a holiday right now!!

They are all such lovely cards, it's so hard to choose but I think my farourites are 'Hedgehogs in Squares' and 'Sentiments'. I picked the Hedgehogs because I just love the little hedgehog coming out of the flowerpot with the flower, he's so cute. I picked the Sentiments because it's lovely to see a card with just a simple message.

I love the tall card made with the sentiments and blissful is so sweet but I suppose with fathers day looming, I have to choose 'Oh Man' as he reminds me of my dad snoozing in his chair and 'Footballing Hedgehogs' as this reminds me of the days when my son (now 24) used to go to football with his dad on sundays!

But I guess my faves have to be the card with the "Little happy mice"-stamps. Love the versatility of the stamps. By cutting them you can create a totally different style. Plus I think those mice are really looking happy :)

I adore all the stamps and have some of them already. The simplicity of both the "happy little Mice" and "hedgehog in squares" can be used for umpteen types of card creations. Whats good about the design of the stamps is that they are so versatile, you can leave the hedgehogs as one big square of 4 or a long rectangle 3 for the mice or break them down into the individual element squares to be used singely or in whatever layout fashion you desire. They are both so cute and all you need is a little imagination for how you create your card layout with them.

I love the hedgehog cards, my first ever purchase from little Claire's was the hedgehog on a See-Saw. How about a baby Hedgie in a nappie with a dummy and duckie, then I can make a Hedgehog family mini album as you have a hedgehog stamp for just about all occasions:)

I love the Hedgehogs in Squares and Oh Man. I run a Scout group and the children in the group thoroughly enjoy making all the cards with Little Claire's stamps which i have bought from the NEC Shows in previous years. Gosh that was hard to pick 2 cards... they are all so lovely... the 2 that I have chosen remind me of my family. 'Oh Man', reminds me so much of my Hubby on a Sunday and so the card made me smile and the second card is 'Messing about on the river'.. this image is so cute and reminds me of my daughter was she was a toddler, she loved wearing her wellyboots when we went to our local lake and park. HI Love all the samples soooo hard to choose but in the end it has to be the Oh man and seascape cards. Men's cards are so tricky especially if they aren't into sport!! I also love the fancy folds and layering that the cards use. All the cards have given me heaps of inspiration to get out there and get crafting. Thanks for sharing and fingers crossed x
ReplyDeleteI love them all but if I was pushed to choose I would have to say the 'Sentiment' card and the 'Messing about by the river', I love the style of the little girl stamps you have xxx

I love the colours used,the gingham paper,the die cuts - it's all so fresh.The hedgehogs are real darlings and of course the scarves can be coloured to match a favourite football team - Brill. A great card for my football mad grandson x
2.Oh! Man
I just love this too. Such a cool image and perfect for those hard to make male cards.The fancy fold of this card makes it very special and that doggie is too cute xx
Wow!!! As others have said, all the cards are absolutely gorgeous and it is very very difficult to choose just two! I already have several of your stamps, though none of the above designs, which makes it even harder to choose!
ReplyDeleteI think I will have to go for:
'Hegdehog's in Squares'; they are so amazingly cute and adorable images, they would cheer up anyone and could be adapted to suit almost any occasion. Plus, we have a cattle grid outside our house and yesterday some unlucky hedgehog happened to fall down between the gaps but we managed to coax him out with a makeshift ramp and some cat food! - We now have a picture of a hedgehog with a big red circle round it and a cross through the middle, like the 'no smoking' signs, stuck on the gatepost (if only they could read)!!!
My second choice is:
'On Your Wedding Day'; this image is beautiful and with so many options to suit the different styles of weddings around at the moment - it could be left relatively plain and simple for a classic and traditional look or "jazzed" up for a more contemporary feel.

all the samples are lovely but the two that speak to me are hedgehogs in squares and messing around by the river, two totally different sets, but both really versatile, although i love all little claires images x

ReplyDeleteI just love all your stamps and own a great many, but my favourite two out of these are the footballing hedgehogs and the sentiments cards. The footballing hedgehogs are perfect for those tricky men/boys cards and sentiments are the perfect finishing touch to any card you make - they say just want you want the card to mean !! xx

GOsh that was hard work, so many lovely stamps and samples it was difficult to choose. Lol. MY favourite two are" room with a view tree," made by carol and the owl card using "sentiments" by donna. These cards showcased the versatility of the stamps and beautifully made and fabulous inspiration. Thanks for the opportunity to win these stamps x
