Another super class here at Little Claire HQ...

... 'Let's Celebrate' was the name of our class this Saturday just gone, and we certainly did celebrate the art of cardmaking with a great group of ladies, lots of refreshments & fun!

Here are samples of what we made:

A card for Christmas with our 'Magic of Christmas' stamp set (love the Geese!):

A gorgeous baby card made with our Baby Changing Tree embellishments - what a great idea our Changing Tree is, once you have the tree base you can then stamp all the little elements wherever you wish to make your tree shape and of course you can apply the stamps to anything else you may be working on and make super borders and mix 'n' match........  The 'Baby' sentiment is from our Dictionary Definitions stamp set.

Here we have our aptly named 'Ever so Lovely' stamp, stamped & coloured onto kraft paper producing shades of pinks and browns:

For a New Home - or anything really as this is one of our favourite stamps, we used At Home stamp combined with red gingham and kraft paper and we coloured the Candi to match the theme:

And we bet you think that the card below has been stamped?  No! this card has been made using one of our peel off stickers, stamped onto white card, coloured and cut out.  The Sentiment is from the matching stamp set 'Oh Man'.

Our ladies worked very hard and thanks to Helen N for designing such a super class for Little Claire.

If you would like to attend one of our classes, see more info here or call  us: 0151 339 2322 for more details.

Here's what we did yesterday....

...we went for a day out to Wrexham, North Wales and enjoyed a wonderful morning with lots of lovely ladies all making Little Claire cards!

Here's me in full flow, dishing out orders!

What a lovely venue, and a very good, well behaved class....
and here are a few samples of some of the cards we made:

Christmas Changing Tree
We used our Christmas Changing Tree set to make this card, I really like this design because you can create your own Christmas Tree just by putting the little stamps wherever you wish, you can see through the block where to position them onto the tree and then we also made a border using the stamps down the side.

We made an easel card featuring our cute Little George stamp and some of the colour combinations from the ladies were stunning!  It's great to see different ideas, the colouring was stunning though!

and continuing with the Christmas theme, we made this little beauty with our Merry Kissmas stamp featuring the two scottie dogs:

We all worked really hard and didn't just stop at Christmas cards, we made others on a general theme too and in between creating, making, drinking tea, eating cakes and lots of laughter we all had a very enjoyable time.
So thank you very much for having us and we look forward to the next time x

A very busy weekend here at Little Claire....

...first off we held our first class in our new Barn, appropriately called 'Owls in the Barn' and what a great time we all had, lots of cards were made and we kept Steve busy with the refreshments too (yummy mince pies, choccies & lots of biscuits mmmmmm!)

Here's a couple of pictures of our new classroom with some of our lovely ladies making their cards:

We had a great time, and we filled the walls with lots of card samples, fairy lights & plenty of bunting.  Thank you to all our lovely ladies and also to Helen N for designing a super class x
Lots of classes are planned for the New Year and we have some special 'Days with Little Claire' planned too, see our web for more details.

Here is one of the cards made on Saturday:

Christmas Owl Tree
We have to keep the rest under wraps as we are running this class again in the New Year (minus the Christmas card!)

Another exciting happening was to receive this month's issue of Papercraft Essentials and our Lyndsey has a full page project on page 68 featuring our 'Let's Bake' stamp with a step-by-step guide:

and here is Lyndsey's card close up:

Let's Bake - our club stamp for November
Lyndsey used 'Let's Bake' stamp and embellished it with our Bunting stamp set too - don't you wish you had a dresser like that?  Makes us feel all warm & cosy, must be the cat perched on the stool.......

Keep warm if you can, so windy here today - Little Claire xxx

Friday Project 'Wedding Tree'

Friday Project: 'Wedding Tree' - By Helen R

You need

ProMarkers: Various colours
Square card base
Pale pink & cream cardstock
Corner Bow Die
Corner dies
Classic Circles Nestabilities
Lacey Circles Nestabilities
Cream & pale pink pearls

1. Stamp out your design using stamps from the Changing Tree stamp set. I have added the wine bottle from the Girly embellishments set and the little hearts from the Bunting stamp set, but you can choose how to make up your design and which stamps to use!

2. Cut out this image using circle Nestabilities and cut a ‘Lacey Circle‘ from pale pink cardstock. Colour your design with ProMarkers.

3.  Cut a square of pale pink paper (mine is approx. 14cm square, but it will depend on the size of your cardblank). Mount the paper onto a slightly larger piece of cream cardstock and again onto a piece of pale pink cardstock. Stick these onto the card base.

4. Assemble a rectangular panel out of the same paper and cards and stick to the middle of the card as shown in the picture.

5. Stick on the main panel using 3D foam pads.

6. Die cut and add 2 corners and a corner bow.

7. Stamp out, cut and adhere sentiment to the bottom left of the card.

8.  To finish, add pearls to the corner pieces and to the middle of the bow.

I Love the Changing Tree stamp set and how versatile it is! In the main set you get the tree and embellishments to make owl, music & wedding trees. Then you can also buy separate sets of embellishments to add to your collection. Christmas, baby and girly themes are available! There is no end to the trees you can create…!

Hope you like the project! Have a lovely weekend everyone! Helen x
