Christmas Scottie Dog mini album

Morning guy's !!

Diane here with a Little Claire friday project for you and I have this mini album using the Christmas Scotties stamp set and Dinkies-Mini Puppy Christmas paper pack and Christmas Puppy pack

It's quick and easy to make and ready for all the fun christmas photo's you will be taking and it will make a fab stocking filler too  !!

You will need:
Christmas Scottie stamp set
Dinkie - Mni Christmas Puppy pack + 2 sheets from the Charistmas Puppy pack
black and white card
2 thicker pieces of card for covers
black ink
fine line black pen
3D foam tape
stickles
tartan ribbon

Cut two pieces of black card one measuring 10" x 3" and the other 9 1/2" x 3".
Score the 10" x 3" at 1/2" / 3 1/2" / 6 1/2" / 9 1/2" and the 9 1/2" x 3" at 1/2" / 3 1/2" / 6 1/2"
(I've used white paper so you can see the scores)
Now glue both pieces together so you have a 1/2" fold either end and concertina fold.
Cut two pieces of thicker card 3 1/4" square ( I save the backing card that comes with some of the lager envelopes ) and two 4 1/2" squares of stripe blue paper from the Christmas Puppy pack. For each cover glue the card in to the centre of paper, trim corners off and fold over the paper edges to back and glue.

Now glue one 1/2" flap on the black concertina card to inside of front cover and then the other 1/2" flap to inside back cover to from your mini album. Cut two pieces of red dotty paper 3" square and glue these to inside of front and back cover to hide 1/2" join.

Now cut 6 pieces of Dinkie - Mini Christmas Puppy papers to 2 7/8" square and cover the inside pages.

Nest cut a piece of white card 2 3/4" x 2 1/2" and stamp and colour Scottie Dog with bubbles. Matt this on to a piece of red dotty paper and then black card adding a small border of each.

Add 3d foam tape to back and attach to front of album, then make a tartan bow and attach this also to front. Finish off by adding a black wiggly line round Scottie dog and some stickles glitter.

One dinkie mini album !!

Why not make a few as christmas presents or birthday gifts. There are so many Little Claire stamps you could use !!

Here's another one using the Dinkie - Fruit Pastels paper pack

Have fun !!

hugs Diane xx

The Great Outdoor

Hi, Margreet here.
It's my turn to share some inspiration with Little Claire's Designs' digis.
 The hiker at the inside.
Products used:
Image: Digi Great Outdoors
Image: Digi Hiking boots
Image: Digi Signpost
White cardstock
Patterned papers First Edition (Man Made)
Color medium (I used copics)
Double sided tape
Clip
Piece of string

Step by step:
- Take a piece of white cardstock 13.5 x 27 cm and cut it in half.
- Cut one piece diagonally in half.
- Cover all white papers with patterned papers.
- Glue the left piece with double sided tape (mind to let open the upper side!)
- Do the same with the right side.
- Print off the digi stamps.
- Color your images.
- Write something down on the signpost (I used the same street names as written on the patterned paper of the tag)
- Cut the images out, leaving a small white border round the edge and glue them with double sided tape.
- Cut a piece of patterned paper so it fits in the open side.
- Glue the Great Outdoors digi, cut out leaving a small white border round the edge.
- Put a piece of string at the clip and  it at the top of the tag.

Hope you like my 'project' and are inspired to try something similar.
If you do, let me know and I'll come to visit you.

Thanks for stopping by.
xxx Margreet

Darling Daschunds

Hello its Alli here with a card make for today's Little Claire blog project and I was on Face Book the other day when I saw that someone had posted a sweet photo of a couple of sausage dogs and it reminded me of this really lovely stamp which I bought last year and I have to say I have used it again and again because it is such a great design. So here is yet another incarnation for these stamps.

what you will need:
Little Claire Darling Daschunds stamp set
Little Claire dinky sentiment stamp - Happy Birthday Mrs Lovely
8" x 6" white base card
white card to stamp onto
Versa Fine black ink pad
Tim Holtz Distress Ink pad - Spun Sugar and Cut n Dry foam
colouring in implements
dark pink heavy weight paper
Nit Wit Perfect Pair paper pad - white with pink hearts
various flower punches and dies
small butterfly punch/die
small hole punch
ring binder hole punch
wet glue
Glamour Dust glitter
white satin ribbon

Cut the base card down so that it measures 7 3/4" x 3 1/2" and now is a tent fold card.
Cut the dark pink paper to mat and layer on top of the base card and stick into place.
Cut a piece of the Nit Wit Perfect Pair paper (white with pink hearts) to mat and layer on top on the pink paper stuck onto the base card and stick into position.

Using the Versa Fine ink pad and the two large (boy and girl) Daschunds from the Little Claire Darling Daschunds stamp set stamp the images onto the white card.
Trim the image to size (about 6 3/4" x 2 1/8").
Using the Little Claire sentiment stamp Happy Birthday Mrs Lovely and the Versa Fine ink pad stamp the sentiment onto the image topper.
Colour the image in using your choice of colouring in implements.
Mat and layer the image onto the dark pink paper.
Stick the image topper onto the base card.

Cut out various flowers using your dies and punches and colour some of them using the Tim Holts Spun Sugar Distress Ink and the Cut n Dry foam.
Apply wet glue to the coloured flowers, sprinkle with Glamour Dust glitter, shake off excess and allow to dry.
Glue small white flowers to the centre of the larger pink flowers.
From the dark pink paper punch out 7 dots using the small hole punch and 1 dot using the ring binder punch.
Bevel the dots and stick onto the centre of the flowers.
Stick the flowers onto the card.
Cut a piece of white satin ribbon and fold it in two. Apply glue to the folded end of the ribbon and stick it under the petals of the large flower.

Punch the butterfly from the dark pink paper using the butterfly punch.
Crease the butterfly down the body section and stick onto the card.

Now you just need to find someone lovely to give it to - not a problem Xx

Calvin Cat–Digi Stamp Project

Morning All! It’s Lisa here with a new ‘Digi Stamp Project' and today I’m showcasing the Calvin Cat digi stamp:

    digi Calvin Cat

Sometimes you need a quick little gift in a hurry, whether is be for a Birthday you almost forgot (oops) or for a little thank you present. So my project is a very easy little notebook:

    Calvin Cat Notebook (2)

I’ve used a piece of card as the front and back cover, a bulldog clip to hold it together and some pretty paper. The paper inside mine is scrap paper that I’m recycling but you could you nice plain paper if you were giving it as a gift.

Here is a close up of the image:

    Calvin Cat Notebook (1)

    And another angle:

    Calvin Cat Notebook (3)

    Supplies:

    • Calvin Cat Digi Stamp

    • Alcohol Markers

    • Bulldog Clip

    • White Stamping Card

    • Kraft, Orange and Teal Coloured Card

    • White A4 paper or scrap paper

    • Striped Patterned Paper

    • Plain and Scalloped Square Dies

    • Pearls

    • Word or Alpha Stickers

        Step by Step:

        1. Cut two 11cm by 15.5cm pieces of Kraft card. Score one across the short edge at 2.5cm (this is the depth of my bulldog clip so you may need to change this measurement)

        2. Cut a 9.5cm by11.5cm piece of patterned paper, mat onto teal and orange card and fix to the Kraft card under the score line.

        3. Cut a 9.5cm by 0.5cm strip of patterned paper, mat onto teal and orange card and fix to the Kraft card above the score line.

        4. Print the image onto white stamping card. Die cute into a square and colour images with alcohol markers.

        5. Mat the image onto a scalloped square die cut from teal card and fix to the front of the note book with 3D foam pads.

        6. Decorate the front with some word stickers, pearls and some doodling with a fine line pen.

        7. Cut several sheets of A4 white paper into quarters (A6 size/10.5cm by 14.8cm) and place inside the front and back covers. Hold it all together with the bull dog clip.

          1. Hope you like my project and are inspired to try something similar. My blog is www.craftingbelle.blogspot.com if you would like to see some more projects.

            Thanks for stopping by

            Lisa
