Friday Blog Project - Snowflake Owl Acetate Card

Hi Heidi here, to share another project with you.

Today, I am sharing a tutorial on a little acetate card I have made using the gorgeously cute 'Dinky' stamp - 'Snowflake Owl'

These little cards are great when using up scrap pieces of card and acetate. They are really effective and quick to make.

Here is the inside of the card.

When using acetate, you must ensure that when sticking something to it, you must do the same on the reverse. I have added turquoise card to the back of my images.

Here are the products I have used on my card :

Little Claire - Dinky - 'Snowflake Owl' stamp set
Dovecraft 'Krafty Christmas' - 'Snowflake' Embossing Folder
Acetate Sheet
Turquoise Bazzill Card
White stamping cardstock
Promarker Pens
MS Snowflake Punch
White large pearls
Black Fine Liner Pen

Card Instructions :

(1) Cut a piece of acetate to measure : 20cms x 10cms, score in half.
(2) Run 'Snowflake' embossing folder over half of the acetate only, through a die-cutting machine.
(3) Cut two oblongs of turquoise card : 7.5cms x 6.5cms.
(4) Cut two oblongs of white stamping card : 7cms x 6cms.
(5) Stamp up 'Snowflake Owl' onto one of the white oblongs, colour in image.
(6) Stamp up a sentiment onto other white oblong.
(7) Edge with black fine-liner pen.
(8) Stick elements to acetate.
(9) Punch out two snowflakes from turquoise card, stick as shown.
(10) Add to large white pearls.

I do hope you have enjoyed my little project today.  The little owl is so lovely to colour in.  She also comes in a digi-image as well as a larger stamp.  Pop over HERE to see them all.
