Snowman Kisses - Thursday Digi-Stamp Blog Project using Christmas Scottie with Snowman

Good Morning Everyone!

It's Sarah here with a new Digi-Stamp Project. I have used part of the Digi-Stamp - Christmas Scottie with Snowman.

I love this stamp and knew the Snowman would be perfect for the project I wanted to share with you all - Snowman Kisses.

A cute way to package some Tic Tacs as little stocking fillers.

Here is a list of materials and products I used for this card:

Smooth white Card Stock - to print on
Blue Card Stock
Ribbon
Paper Trimmer
Corner Rounding Punch
1" Circle punch or 1" Circle Die and Die cutting Machine
Glue, Cellotape and Glue Dots

Firstly I cropped the Digi-Image in Photoshop Elements (program was free with laptop) The screenshots below show how I did this ...

Crop Tool

Highlight the area to crop down to
Using Eraser tool "rub out" the black lines we don't need - like the snow lines
To create an A4 page - Go to File - Blank File and Select
Select Preset and choose International Paper. Then select the A4 option to create a new page
Then drag over your Snowman to the blank sheet. You can now copy and paste him to fill the page.

I cropped and resized the Digi-stamp to fit a 1 3/4”x 2 ¾” box I had created.
Once I copied and pasted lots of snowmen - I used the paint bucket tool to colour in the images. I also put the poem (see end of post) into a box and pasted it a few times ready to cut out once printed.

Cut a piece of blue card stock 4 1/2" x 3"
Score each of these piece 2" from the left edge, and 2" from the right edge (you will have a 1/2" spine in the center of each piece of paper). Round the edges of the blue card and the right side of the digi-stamp once it's been cropped to size.

Cut a piece of coordinating ribbon about 14" long and tape it down to the front of the blue card stock. I left the ribbon loose at the back so it ties easily - and glue down the snowman panel over the taped ribbon.

Punch out the snowman's belly with a 1" circle punch. (Or if like me you couldn't find a punch you can die cut the circle using a die cutting machine!)

Then crop and glue the poem to the inside panel of the packaging and using glue dots pop the Tic Tacs in place.

Then tie the ribbon in a bow to complete the project.

Here is the poem for inside the Tic Tac box ...
