Splish Splash Card

Hello its Alli here with today's digi stamp project and I just love these Little Claire hedgehogs and the colours in the patchwork papers made a really strong base to work my card colour scheme around. I apologise now if any of you haven't got a graphics program because I have used mine quite a bit for this card, but you can still get the basic idea and improvise with shop bought papers if you don't have one.

what you will need:
Little Claire digi Splishing and Splashing stamp
Little Claire Quirky Quilts paper pad - orange/green hexagon
My Craft Studio Elite CD
printer
6" x 6" base card
orange paper
black paper
good quality mat print paper
good quality card to print onto
colouring implements
1.5cm wide moss green satin ribbon
glossy accents
Tim Holts distress inks and Cut n Dry - Bundled Sage, Tea Die

Stick the orange paper to the base card and cut to size.
Tint the edges of the paper with Tim Holtz Tea Die distress ink using the Cut n Dry.

Tint the edge of the Quirky Quilts orange hexagon paper with Tim Holtz Tea Die distress ink using the Cut n Dry.
Mat and layer the Quirky Quilts paper onto the black paper.
Stick the Quirky Quilts and black paper onto the centre of the orange paper base card.

Using the My Craft Studio Elite CD (backgrounds) select design 179 from the every day section and import this into your graphics program. Open the design to A4 size and then shrink down to 6" wide and crop to 6" long.
With your graphics program re colour the design to match the green of the Quirky Quit paper.
Using the My Craft Studio CD select design 181 from the every day section and import this onto the same page in your graphics program as the previous design 179.
Crop the design to lager than the finished size and re colour to match the mustard gingham of the Quirky Quilt paper.
Print the papers onto a good quality mat print paper (I printed a small test sample of the designs onto copy paper to see if the colours match the Quirky Quilt paper).

Cut the printed papers to the desired size.

Tint the edges of the green paper with Tim Holts Bundled Sage distress ink using the Cut n Dry.
Mat and layer the printed paper onto black paper and stick onto the centre of the base card.

Tint the edges of the mustard gingham paper with Tim Holtz Tea Die distress ink using the Cut n Dry.
Mat and layer the printed paper onto black paper.
Stick the moss green satin ribbon onto the gingham paper and secure at the back with tape.
Stick the gingham paper onto the base card.

Open the cute Little Claire Splishing and Splashing digi stamp in your graphics program and re size to 6.5cm from left puddle to right puddle.

Write the sentiment using your graphics program and re size to around 4.7cm (I use Serif Craft Artist as my graphics program and the font I have used is Troutkings BTF).
Print the image and sentiment onto card.

Cut the image to size and colour in.
Mat and layer the image onto black paper.
Cover the rain drops and puddles with Glossy Accents and leave to dry.
Stick the image topper onto the base card.

Cut the sentiment to size.
Mat and layer onto black paper.
Stick the sentiment onto the card.

Make a bow using the satin ribbon and stick onto the card.

Stick the daisy flowers embellishments onto the card. (the large flower was made using a Marianne flower die and the smaller flowers were made using a Cheery Lynn die, centres were made with a hole punch and coloured with Tim Holts distress ink Spiced Marmalade).
