December's club stamps...

...'Canal Scene' stamp set:

Little Claire's club stamps for December

What a lot we've got!  Lots of stamps on this set to use together or mix and match - the choice is yours!

Here are a selection of cards from our teamies to give you ideas and Diane has paper pieced the canopy:

Two images used together along with both sentiments create a beautiful card from Georgina:

and here is the card designed by Heidi for which our club members will receive all the ingredients in their pack to make - Heidi has created a clever effect with acetate (can't quite see it here)

Just a taster of the lovely cards from our teamies, all our packs have been sent out so if you are a member you should have received yours - we hope you enjoy!

Not a member?  If you would like to sample one of our lovely club packs we have 2 to give away!

Leave us a comment telling us where you would go if lucky enough to have your own caravan or barge - we would take off around Europe, heading for Italy (all that sunshine, food & wine - mmmm)

We will draw two lucky winners on Monday 09 December, so tell us your travelling dreams!

  2. With a caravan to call home for a while, we'd visit all the family in UK and take in many craft shops on the way around - including a trip over to Cheshire, of course - for some tuition!

  3. I would accompany my hubby on a round Britain tour, something he would like to do when he retires.

  4. Great stamps. I would love to use the romany caravan as a craft space. I would not have to travel far, just in the back garden & decorate the outside with lovely flowers in pots.

  5. America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Turkey and loads of other places too. Think we would need more than a caravan or boat though. A lottery win would definitely help the plan.
Love the stamp set. So useful for many occasions, especially the dreaded 'man card'.
    Good luck everyone xx

  6. well, the UK is so pretty I think I'd head off to try and explore each County one by one. A caravan would be a great place to unwind each evening after all that sightseeing, with a glass of wine and a few cardmaking bits, of course!

  8. Hi Little Claire,
If I had a caravan I would take it straight to Bute in Cornwall. There is a place there called Widemouth Bay, I have been once before but the view from the caravan site is amazing. The site is situated high up on the cliffs so you can look out to sea and the sunsets could beat any from abroad they are stunning. Unfortunately we had to sell our caravan due to my ill health but my memories of that holiday and those views will stay with me forever.
Thank you so much for reading this and thank you for all the inspiration you give to us crafters.
    Happy Christmas

  9. I would love to travel to and around France in my caravan. Visiting the vineyards, sampling the grapes and of course a glass of wine or two! I would also go and visit some friends who now live in Var in the region of Provence. They did live across the road from us for over 20 years and I used to play out with their children, however they emigrated to France a few years ago, and our street doesn't seem the same anymore.
Thanks to all at Little Claire for such a very handy set, for all ages and occasions

  13. I thought I had replied to this but in case I forgot to press 'publish', I'm going to send it again as it's too good a set to miss out on! I'm a Guider and worked towards a licence that lets me take Guides away on residential holidays on a narrowboat. I also go boating with a group of Guiding friends and this year we did the Cheshire Ring which involved boating 100 miles and 100 locks, all in 8 days! Next year we are planning to go to the Ellesmere Port Boat Museum when they have their horse drawn boat weekend in August. I don't suppose I will ever be able to afford my own boat but am happy to keep discovering the beautiful scenery and rich heritage of different parts of the UK canal network with my Guiding friends. This set of stamps will come in very useful when I am making cards and gifts for them as previous searches have thrown up very little in the way of stamps, etc in this area! Thanks. Stef x

  14. What fabulous new stamps! What a tough decision. I guess I'd choose the caravan to take my time seeing the UK. Thanks so much for the chance to win. hugs, Kimberly

  15. Hi to you all,
If I had a caravan and I could go anywhere I would travel across to the Wirral and park in a corner of your car park. I would set everything up and leave hubby with a cup of tea and a book while I went browsing the shop and went to every class you do. Hubby would of course have dinner cooked every evening while I crafted and used all the new stamps I had bought.
    Oh well I can dream can’t I ?

  17. “If I had a caravan I would love to travel the backways through France across the Pyrennes into Spain. This would just be as Spring occurs so as to be able to savour the sounds and sights of new life coupled with the delights of seeing the snow still on the high peaks.”

  18. My life is so busy with work, grandchildren, husband, dogs etc that if I was lucky enough to own my own barge or caravan I would sail or drive to the nearest pub and park there for a week to 'play' with stamps and experiment with all the different ways of using them. I would eat in the pub every night so that I could get lots of early nights and lots of rest ready to start each new day crafting.
I would build up my own scrap book of ideas ready to take home and make cards.

    Kind regards

  19. I love these new stamps. I have been a member in the past but had to give up as I moved onto a narrow boat and cannot receive post. The narrow boat stamp would be brilliant giving me the opportunity to make very personal cards from our home. Lorraine Streeter
