Friday Project using "Flowerhead"

Morning peeps, Diane here with this week friday project for you which is this fab gift tag holder and tags.

You will need the following:

To make the tag holder, cut a piece of white card 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" and score at 3 1/2" and 4" and 1 1/2" up from bottom. Round off top two corners. Fold up bottom flap to form pockets and fold along 3 1/2" and 4" lines to form spine.

Then cut from your pattern papers the following:
Outside covers: (1) - 3  3/8" x 5  7/8"
(1) - 3  3/4" x 5  3/4"
Inside covers: ( 2 )- 3  1/4" x 5  3/4"
For the tags you will need:
(4)  2  3/4" x 3  1/2"
(4)  2  3/4" x 3  3/8"

Stamp the flowerhead onto a piece of white card 5 times and colour in using Amethyst and Buttercup promarkers.  Then cut out.
Glue the two front cover patern papers together and then glue onto front. Cut a piece of yellow ribbon 26" long and glue to font of cover and then take one of the flowerheads and stick 3D foam on back and put over ribbon on front cover.

Glue two inside patern papers to inside cover and two bottom pattern papers to bottom. Glue centre and two outer edges to form pockets for your tags.
To make the tags carefully cut your tag card apart to form 4 separate tags. Mat and layer your two pattern papers and glue to front of tags. Mount each flowerhead onto 3D foam and stick on front of each tag. Finish off with a piece of 6" yellow ribbon tied at top of each  tag and pop two tags into each pocket of holder.

Phew...sorry it's such a long tut, but it would make a fab gift for a friend, family member or even a teachers gift !!

hugs Diane xx

  1. Wow Wonderful project. Years ago I bought something called Sarah's Surfaces and it was a pack of little wallets, one of them was just like this, so this is nice to finally get the measurements, thank you for that.
