Weekly Blog Project - Flowerhead Peg

Hi, it's Heidi here. It's my turn to do a blog project this week and I am sharing a little peg that I have altered using the gorgeous 'Flowerhead' stamp. You can attach a magnetic strip to the reverse, so that it can sit on your fridge to hold messages or have just for decoration.

Here are a list of products I have used to make it.

Products  Used :

Little Claire 'Flowerhead' Stamp - £4.50
First Edition 'Floral Pavilion' paper pack - £7.50
Wooden pegs, Rich Cocoa Momento Inkpad and Green Pearls from stash.

You can purchase all of the products listed above (except stash items) from website HERE

Instructions :

(1) Stamp out four flower images onto two different papers from the pack, cut three out and the centre of the fourth.

(2) Cover both sides of the peg using contrasting paper. My peg measured : 8cms x 1cms. Stick down firmly with wet glue or strong double-sided tape.

(3) Cut a piece of pink and a piece of green baker's twine, put together and tie a bow on one side of the peg.

(4) Curl up each edge of flower. Stick flower pieces together including centre piece, using sticky pads, attach to peg and add pearls.

Here is the end result. These little pegs are great for gifts using up lots of scraps of lovely papers.

Hope you have enjoyed this little project, please leave a comment.
