  2. Hi Little Claire, normally I have the family here for Christmas, and the big "kids" help with cooking the roast, though I prepare a lot of it the night before, and we have my parents and MIL over (and unwrap presents together) so a full house. This year might be different as we have a new little grandson, maybe they will come to stay as usual I am not sure. They might want to stay home and have Christmas in their house, maybe we will be going there instead! It is too soon to know.

  7. I tried to put a comment on the blog but it wouldn't take it, so will put it here.
If health permits I will be trying a new way to spend Christmas. On the beach in Australia with my only daughter, son in law and beautiful 3yr old Granddaughter Jocelyn. If that is not possible, I will be at home playing with my new craft stuff that I will have treated myself to. I wonder what lovely stamps Little Claire will have produced by then????? Can't wait.!!!!!!!!

  21. 13 bods (age range 10 to 90) will pile into one bedroom (known as the north wing) where Santa sacks will be demolished and many embarrassing early morning photos will be taken. Accompanied by the smell of roasting turkey, breakfast is eaten. We then share family gifts. Recovery is liquid! After games, Wii contests and the queen's speech, we have dinner. Washing up done everyone collapses and chills. The only crafting is origami napkins, beading or knitting.
